We especially encourage artists of color to join us in this important dialogue about creating new visual art that embodies respect, inclusion, and creativity and can join our collection . Your voice and vision are essential as we strive to reflect our community's diversity and spirit.
Painted by local artist Bill Haddon (b.1933-d.1989), this one-of-kind mural of early Issaquah has been telling its story since 1976. However, over time certain elements of painting have drawn scrutiny for their depiction of certain cultures and events.
